NIMH Scientist Emerita and one of the pioneering researchers who first identified and described PANDAS. Her work was fundamental in establishing PANDAS as a distinct clinical research entity. **Dr. Swedo is no longer seeing patients.

Kiki Chang,

Child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist and Co-Founder of the Stanford PANS Clinic and Research Program. He has extensive clinical and research experience in PANS/PANDAS and neuropsychiatric disorders in children.

Miroslav Kovacevic,

MD, FAAP — Illinois, USA

Pediatrician based in Hinsdale, Illinois, and one of the early U.S. clinicians to recognize and treat children with PANDAS. He has extensive clinical experience managing complex and severe PANDAS/PANS cases.

Professor of Pediatrics at Sapienza University of Rome with extensive expertise in pediatric neurology. His clinical and academic work includes neuroinflammatory and immune-mediated neurological conditions in children.

Pediatric infectious disease specialist and longtime member of the PANS/PANDAS Research Consortium. He has contributed to clinical guidelines addressing infections, antibiotics, and the infectious triggers associated with PANS/PANDAS.

MD — Maryland, USA

Pediatric neurologist with extensive clinical experience in PANS/PANDAS and other neuroimmune disorders. She has been involved in the PANS Research Consortium and in the development of clinical recommendations for PANS/PANDAS.

Michael Cooperstock,

MD, MPH — University of Missouri, USA

Pediatric infectious disease specialist and an important contributor to PANS/PANDAS clinical research. He was a lead author of consensus recommendations addressing the treatment and prevention of infections in PANS/PANDAS.
